Our registered veterinary nurses run clinics through the week, including free weight, dental and puppy clinics.
Our team of veterinary nurses run clinics during the week. They are trained to carry out many procedures and offer expert advice on all aspects of pet care, as well as supporting our vets and clients.
They also run specialised free clinics such as weight, dental and puppy socialisation clinics. These are either advertised on Facebook or arranged on referral from a vet.

- Administering medication

- Tick removal and parasite control advice
- Dressing changes
- Puppy and kitten clinics, including advice on buying (breeds, costs, equipment, how to choose and what you need to know)
- Dental health care and checks
- Microchipping
- Blood pressure and diabetes monitoring
- Routine blood and urine samples and checks
Our veterinary nurses regularly attend courses to improve their knowledge and keep up to date with procedures. Some of our qualified nurses also hold, or are studying towards, additional qualifications.
Please note: although our nurses can give advice, they are not allowed to diagnose medical problems and may refer your pet to a vet. If you think your pet is ill, please make an appointment to see a vet.
Weight clinics
Our nurse-led weight clinics give you support and guidance to make the best decisions about your pet's nutrition and maintain a healthy, comfortable body condition.
We get to know you and your pet's routine and lifestyle so we can make the best plan to get the weight off. Through regular visits we weigh your pet and measure their waist. Every pet has their own little ways, so each weight loss plan is tailored to their needs.
